‘Supporting holistic child development’ conference

‘Supporting holistic child development’ conferenceOn May, 2018 the Regional Teacher Development Centre ‘WOM’ in Częstochowa hosted a conference for pre-school and early-school teachers titled ‘Supporting holistic child development’.

The subject of the conference was closely connected with the main objective of the core curriculum for pre-school and early-school education, which is supporting holistic child development in four leading spheres: cognitive, emotional, physical and social.

The participants became familiar with a whole range of exemplary exercises, including those of speech therapy, breathing, hearing and phonetics. They got to know the main assumptions of Dalton Plan education that prepares a child for adult life full of tasks and duties, thus supporting its development.

The content presented in the conference will be published in ‘The Częstochowa Educational Bulletin’.
