‘Clans and their role in activating local communities in the past’ regional conference

‘Clans and their role in activating local communities in the past’ regional conferenceOn November 30, 2016 RODN ‘WOM’ in Częstochowa hosted the ‘Clans and their role in activating local communities in the past’ conference under the honour patronage of the Silesia Chief Education and the Institute of History of the Opole University.

The partners and co-organisers of the event were: the University of Silesia in Katowice, the Institute of History of the Łódź University, the Opole University, the Jan Długosz Academy in Częstochowa, Higher School of Linguistics in Częstochowa, the Upper Silesian Association in Katowice, the Association of the Kruszyna Friends, Kornel Makuszyński Primary School in Częstochowa, The School and Kindergarten Complex in Borowno. The conference stressed the importance of the role of regional education in schools, cherishing traditions and popularisation of previous generations acquis.
