Working with a foreign student seminar

On September 14, 2017 there was a seminar on working with a foreign student. The event was organised by the Education Office in Katowice in cooperation with RODN ‘WOM’ in Częstochowa.

The speakers presented legal regulations of foreign students education. On the basis of Great Britain’s expertise they listed the ways of giving support to students coming from different cultures. The participants learnt about some new methods of fostering students’ intercultural competences, i.a. on the example of the projects titled ‘Culture that’s gone – the Jews of Czestochowa’ and ‘The same’, which were realised within the nation-wide Amnesty International project.
