‘Easter with Little Nicholas’ Art Contest

On April 10, 2017 pupils of primary schools (grades IV-VI) of Częstochowa city and the neighbouring counties took part in the ‘Easter with Little Nicholas’ Art Contest organised by teacher consultants of the Regional Teacher Development Centre ‘WOM’ in Częstochowa, that is Sylwia Kurcab, Barbara Kosta and Ewelina Makowska.

The contestants were presented with Polish Easter customs and discovered French Easter traditions. Their challenge was to illustrate a story by René Goscinny titled ‘Easter egg’.

While the pupils were creating their works, their teachers were participating in workshops about French culture.
