The contest for teachers of foreign languages for a lesson plan focused on preventing violence and aggression at school

We have a challenge for you!

Enter a contest for teachers of foreign languages and create a lesson related to aggression and violence in the schools. Use authentic audio or video materials available on the Internet (short films, commercials, news, songs, etc.)

We invite teachers of primary schools (grades IV-VI), junior high schools and secondary schools. We’re waiting for individual contestants, as well as school subject teams (2-3 members)

Hand in your entries up till December 5, 2014.

The winners will get prizes, diplomas and satisfaction with the publication of the best contest teaching materials which will be placed at the website of  RODN ‘WOM’ to use and adapt by other teachers under the Creative Commons licenses BY i NC.


The contest organisers are The Regional Teacher Development Centre ‘WOM’ in Częstochowa and The Centre of European Languages – Teacher Training College of Foreign Languages in Częstochowa. Entries must include one printed copy and one electronic form (on CD) and have to be written both in Polish and English/German/French. The lesson should focus on preventing aggression and violence at schools.

Entry forms must include links to Internet-based audio or video materials used in the lesson. Use authentic audio or video materials available on the Internet in English/German/French (e.g. film/series/serial (fragment), radio/ television commercials, YouTube materials, news, songs, etc.)
